Garlic Prawn Stir Fry
I'm going back to basics and this 20 minute stir fry with plenty of veggies and flavour is the perfect mid week dinner.

Ingredients
Stir Fry
- 300 g fresh prawns
- 100 g green beans
- 100 g broccoli
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp cornflour
- 1 tbsp neutral oil
Prawn Marinade
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp sambal olek
- Rice to serve
Instructions
- Mix together marinate ingredients, toss in the fresh prawns and leave covered for 10 minutes.
- Slice up the onion, chop the garlic, trim the beans, and chop the broccoli into small pieces.
- Heat oil in a large pan, add prawns and cook for 1 and a half minutes per side, remove from the pan and set aside.
- Add onion to the pan and sauté for 1-2 minutes, add in garlic and stir for 1 minute.
- Once the garlic is fragrant, add in all the chopped veggies.
- Add 1/3 cup of water to the pan and scrape the fond from the bottom of the pan then cover for 5 minutes until the veggies soften.
- Take the lid off and add back in the prawns, then add the soy sauce and oyster sauce.
- Mix cornflour with 2 tbsp water then pour into the pan.
- Stir together then serve with rice.
Notes
If you’re gluten free I recommend AYAM sauces as they’re all gluten free!
